Entering Custom Paper Sizes on RISO MZ790/990 Duplicator.

In order to run non-standard paper sizes on the RISO MZ790 Duplicator, they must first be entered into memory. Once a paper size has been stored into memory it can be retrieved with the Paper button on the Master Making Basic Screen. Up to 6 different paper sizes can be stored and previously stored sizes can be modified or deleted. Allowable paper sizes that can be stored range from 3.9” X 5.8” to 13.4” X 21.9”.


On the LCD Panel:
a. Touch Admin on the Basic Screen for any Mode (Dual-Color, Black {Cylinder 1} or whichever color is in Cylinder 2).
b. Touch OK
c. Touch System; Custom Paper Entry should appear at the top of the menu. If it doesn’t use the right and left arrow icons to scroll through the selections until you locate it.
d. Touch Custom Paper Entry
e. A menu will appear showing 4 options on the left and a window with 6 buttons on the right. The buttons are labeled U-1 through U-6. Buttons that have already been used will be grayed out. Touch one of the available buttons.
f. The Size Entry window should appear. The window will have areas in which you can use either the up/down arrows or the numerical key pad to enter the width (W) and height (H) of the paper you wish to register
g. Touch OK
h. The menu of step 1. e. should reappear. Select Rename from the left hand menu.
i. Select which button you wish to rename from the right hand window and A window containing a virtual QWERTY keyboard will appear.
j. Touch the C button to delete the current name and use the keyboard to type in the new name. (Change capitalization with the Small or Capital buttons
k. Touch OK when finished.
